The Only Lure You Need In The Florida Keys Fishing //
On the SPECIAL episode of Abenz Fishing we take our adventures to the Florida Keys where I spent 7 days filming a TV show for the Discovery Channel. This is a special two episode series where I show my viewers a behind the scenes look at what it takes to film a fishing TV show and bring them in on the action we got into in the Florida Keys.
In episode two we were faced with a big decision, go with the rest of the team and fish offshore for out last day or take a. huge gamble and try to get a prized tarpon. To me, the inshore fishing scene in the florida keys is defined by the abundance of tarpon. I NEEDED to catch a tarpon, and a good one, I bailed on the offshore mission and stayed inshore and it paid off thanks to this lure.
This video truly embodies the GRIND that it takes to produce quality fish.

i had the best luck with tarpon fishing outside of the marinas near sunset with filet skins of several fish a lot of the times the charters throw off the carcasses and they see the skin as a easy snack

Great video, but it is a mistake to pull out the Goliath grouper from water. The youngest suffer more, and holding the grouper like this with the pliers is even worse. Read the fwc laws about Goliath grouper and how to handle them.

Struggle is real. I was sitting on top of the largest school of tarpon last weekend for about three hours. Threw everything I had at them including live shrimp and vuduu shrimp. Also lost a $500 setup fighting the docks in the current. I'll do it again in a heartbeat to hook up. Cheers!
